Driving Community Forward: Ertle Subaru and Powersports Impact on the BVFS Youth Advisory - Laura K
Since the start of the Blue Valley Farm Show Youth Advisorys fundraising journey in 2023, one name has continually stood out as a supporter of local agriculture and youth development: Ertle Subaru and Powersports. From engines roaring at the All Motor Show to dust flying at the Bulls and Barrels Blowout, Ertle Subaru and Powersports has fueled more than excitement they have fueled progress. Their generous sponsoring contributions have helped the Youth Advisory not only host memorable community events, but also move significantly closer to their vision of building an Agricultural Museum on the Blue Valley Farm Show grounds. Thanks to continuing community partnerships like theirs, the Youth Advisory has now reached an incredible 40% of their fundraising goal a milestone that shows what can happen when local businesses and young leaders come together with a shared mission. Ertle Subaru and Powersports does more than support events; they support the future. They believe in providing a platform for youth to grow, lead, and preserve the agricultural traditions that define our community. Their partnership inspires confidence, motivates our young members, and brings the dream of the Agricultural Museum closer to reality with each passing event. The Blue Valley Farm Show Youth Advisory extends its heartfelt gratitude to Ertle Subaru and Powersports for helping drive opportunities, education, and tradition forward. With continued teamwork, our community will continue to thrive and together, well cross the finish line.
How $200 Made All The Difference - Shelly S
TeamTommy Inc., a pediatric cancer foundation based in the Slate Belt, set out to raise $10,000 in support of children and families bravely facing cancer. As the bingo/tricky tray closed, we were just $200 short of reaching that goal. One of our volunteers who is also an Ertle Subaru employee, mentioned what occurred and what happened next was nothing short of incredible. Without hesitation, Subaru stepped in and donated the final $200, pushing us across the finish line. Because of their generosity, we didn't just meet our goal - we celebrated it with joy, knowing every dollar will go toward supporting children in treatment and their families. This story is a beautiful reminder that sometimes it's the "last little bit" that changes everything. We are so grateful to Subaru for believing in our mission and helping us make hope possible.

Helping with Education - Kasey R
Ertle Subaru was kind enough to give money towards school supplies for my students who need them. Each year there are students who do not have folders, notebooks and pencils. This could be for a variety of reasons. All students want to fit in and have what they need. With the help of this money, I was able to purchase the needed items so that I could provide the supplies without hesitation. I will be able to continue this throughout the year so that no student will struggle with organization. Thank you Ertle Subaru for making it easier for me to help my students get off to a good start this year.
Happy Hour Street Festival - Eric S
Happy Hour Streetfest was created as a way to give back to the community that stood by Happy Hour Bar & Grill through the challenges of Covid. What started as a neighborhood gathering has grown into a major annual music festival that now operates as a nonprofit organization. Each year, proceeds from the festival go directly toward supporting local schools through music scholarships, ensuring the next generation has access to the arts. A huge part of making this possible is thanks to our dedicated partners. Ertle Subaru has been a proud sponsor of Happy Hour Streetfest for several years, and their ongoing commitment has played a vital role in helping us grow while strengthening our shared community. Together, were keeping the music alive and giving back where it matters most.
Planting Seeds for Generations - Ashley B
On April 19th, Ertle Subaru distributed and assisted over 100 individuals plant trees-ranging from White Oak, Cypress, River Birch, and Dogwood. Together, we are growing greener, healthier communities for generations to come within Stroudsburg and the surrounding areas. This was the largest corporate community tree distribution ever and we were happy to be a part of it. Planting didn't stop with just our customers-there were many employees who took part in growing a greener community. It was truly a magical day!

Zachs Effect Third Annual Golf Tournament - Kaley E
On July 25th 2025, we proudly hosted the Third Annual Zachs Effect Golf Tournament at Great Bear Golf Club, bringing together family, friends, and supporters to celebrate Zachs life, legacy, and love for community. Zachs Effect was created to honor the incredible spirit of Zachary Englehardt whose passion for helping others and his encouragement, motivation, and unwavering support for those around him left a lasting impact on everyone he met. A dedicated member of the community and a Type 1 diabetic himself, Zach inspired us to create something meaningful in his memory a mission to help others live better, fuller lives. Each summer, this tournament serves not only as a tribute to Zach but as a powerful fundraiser that helps provide diabetic alert dogs to individuals living with Type 1 diabetes a cause deeply connected to Zachs journey and love for animals. This year, we were thrilled to raise over $15,000, which will be donated directly to Diabetic Alert Dogs of America to help unite more families with life-saving service dogs. A heartfelt thank you goes out to our incredible supporters, especially Ertle Subaru, who once again sponsored our Hole-in-One Car Giveaway. Their generosity and unwavering commitment to our cause mean the world to us we are truly grateful! Zachs legacy continues to motivate, inspire, and create real change. Thank you to everyone who played, donated, volunteered, or supported from afar. Youre helping us turn love into action, and together, were keeping Zachs effect alive!
Ertle Subaru sponsors Lost in Time Car Club's "Cruise for a Cause" supporting Bushkill Outreach - Rhodi t
Lost in Time Car Club, a local group of car enthusiasts, hosts an annual car show event in the East Stroudsburg community, partnering with local organizations and businesses to raise awareness of and funds for Bushkill Outreach. This year, Cruise for a Cause was held on July 12, 2025 at Mountain Manor Resort and raised over $2000 for our local community food pantry. The Bushkill Outreach Program is a Community Food Pantry in northeastern Pennsylvania, serving Lehman Township in Pike County and Middle Smithfield Township in Monroe County throughout the year. They assist over 500 local families each year. Cruise for a Cause helps them help families throughout the summer season. This year, Ertle Subaru joined our family of local businesses who support our efforts and those of Bushkill Outreach by sponsoring our show. We met Ertle at another community event and got to talking about the good things people in this community do for each other and the next thing you know, they were helping us. It was very generous of the folks at Ertle and we are very grateful for their support. We look forward to working with them in the future. Thank you, Ertle Subaru!
Ertle Subaru Sharing the Love with the Monroe County Hospice House - Denise D
The Monroe County Hospice House is extremely grateful to have been chosen as a hometown charity for Ertle Subarus Share the Love event. Since its reopening in 2019 following a groundswell of community support, the Monroe County Hospice House is the only location in Monroe County for inpatient hospice care. With six inpatient rooms with private bathrooms, a family style kitchen and living room, and a view of a peaceful garden patio with native flowers and plants, this unique facility looks and feels more like a home than a medical building. Through an individualized plan of care, we help you and your family make the most of those final days and achieve serenity at its end. Thank you to the customers and partners of Ertle Subaru who helped make this gift possible to ensure inpatient hospice care remains available to all in need in Monroe County.
Ertle Subaru Teams Up to Support Local Community - Karen D
Imagine going without a coat, shoes, or even socks. For millions of children and adults experiencing homelessness and other urgent need situations across the country, even here in Stroudsburg, this is a harsh reality. Helping others strengthens communities, which is why Ertle Subaru is partnering with Operation Warm®, a national nonprofit focused on connecting children with the resources they need to thrive. Through this partnership and other Subaru Loves to Help® efforts, Subaru and retailers like Ertle Subaru have helped nearly 900,000 children and adults in urgent need. On 01/17/2025, Ertle Subaru donated 120 coats to Pocono Area Transitional Housing (Path). These essential items not only help keep children protected, warm, and dry, it can have a significant impact on a child's mental and emotional well-being.
Stroud Lodge FOP Golf Tournament - Stroud L
Ertle assisted us with our golf tournament by donating to our local lodge. The Fraternal Order of Police is about 300,000 members strong national. We help support legislation, support elections, offer assistance to our membership, training for law enforcement officers and more. With Ertle's assistance we were able to put some funding aside for an upcoming conference. Thank you.
Quiet Valleys Legacy Gets a Boost from Ertle Subaru! - Julie K
It has been quite a journey from the 182-horsepower engine of the rugged Outback at Ertle Subaru back to the two-horsepower wagon at the colonial era homestead which is now known as Quiet Valley Living Historical Farm. While both are located in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, there exists another timeless bond between thema mutual commitment to getting things done, reliability, and the significance of core values. As a nonprofit organization, Quiet Valley relies on every dollar to fulfill its mission of preserving agricultural history for the education and enlightenment of future generations. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Jim Ertle and the entire Ertle Subaru team for their invaluable support in helping us achieve this goal. Their generous contributions have made a significant impact on the museum and grounds, and ultimately, on the thousands of visitors who come through our gates each year. As a functioning living history museum and farm, we face the same daily tasks and challenges as would any small operational farm. Key activities include animal care, haymaking, gardening, and harvesting. The difference is that the land known as Quiet Valley has been continuously farmed since the 18th century, resulting in structures that require the specialized care of centuries-old buildings to continue serving as public historical education spaces. Reflecting on Ertle's essential support, their financial gifts have allowed us to acquire a much-needed newer farm truck (yes, these modern things keep us going behind the historical scenes!). Additionally, their ongoing donations have been crucial for the restoration of our iconic 1860s bank barn, aiding both the structural restoration phase in 2024 and the current masonry work in 2025. This 1850s barn is the heart of the farm; easily recognizable, irreplaceable, and essential for providing safe shelter for our animals. It serves an additional, and perhaps equally as crucial, purpose as a time-honored facility and a unique learning environment, showcasing traditional and historical farming practices for thousands of visitors. Moreover, Jim has graciously offered us the use of his digital billboard on a nearby major highway to promote Quiet Valleys significant events. Through Jim and Timothy Hammond, Ertles Business Development Director, we have gained valuable marketing insights for creating billboards, learning what truly captures people's attention. We genuinely appreciate the time and effort Jim and his staff dedicate to sharing their exceptional knowledge in marketing and we are forever grateful for all their incredible monetary gifts have helped us to accomplish over the years!
Helping Provide Opportunities for Students Education - Jimmy T
Ertle Subaru has been a staple in our community providing means for people to achieve their college education. Their support of the Bill Bergen Memorial Golf Tournament is a small example of their commitment to building community leaders. The mission of this event is to provide financial assistance to college students in the form of scholarship. Since the beginning of this initiative the event has raised over $250,000 dollars that go directly to student scholarship. The award is given annually to students that show qualities of servant leadership, work ethic, and competitive drive. The past recipients have ranged from majors education, athletic training, business management, criminal justice, sports management, exercise science, psychology and many more. Ertle Subaru has gone above and beyond to help support these young students. Students have been academic All-Americans, Deans List students, and people of high character. It is obvious that Ertle Subaru is dedicated to the development of future community leaders. They believe in in philanthropy, and their steadfast commitment has been reciprocated from past East Stroudsburg University students who have also supported the event. It is a true pleasure to work alongside of their amazing staff. At East Stroudsburg University, we are blessed to have such a strong community that believe in our students. Ertle Subaru is the gold standard. Special thanks for their continued support, and we look forward to the future WARRIOR students making the same impact in their communities. #BloodRunsTHICK
